The NSC Brexit Task Force met in Brussels on the 6th of September, chaired by Cllr Nienke Homan, Groningen. The meeting included an update by Magnus Engelbrektsson on recent developments, a report from a fisheries seminar in London by Marine Resources Group Chair Anders Fasth, a report from the Interreg North Sea by Carsten Westerholt, and a Brexit view from East of England by Jonathan Millins. Gregg Jones, CPMR, informed about an upcoming Brexit conference in Cardiff 16 November, organized by CPMR and hosted by the government of Wales. A declaration will be discussed and adopted at the CPMR General Assembly in Helsinki 19-20 October – the NSC Brexit Task Force has received a draft for comments.
The next meeting of the NSC Brexit Task Force will be held on the 8th of November in Brussels.
